Phillip Peterson took a Try Scuba class through Waterfront Diving Center and instantly fell in love with breathing underwater. Phillip has since taken almost every class the shop has to offer, including the Instructor Development Course (IDC). Phillip was previously a middle school teacher and brings a breadth and depth of knowledge to the classroom. Phillip is a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and is always happy to help students with their swim techniques. Phillip loves teaching open water students, introducing people to the underwater world. He also enjoys teaching Underwater Film Editing, helping people make their own vacation videos from their GoPro footage. Phillip loves diving anywhere he can, especially on shipwrecks, particularly the Speigel Grove in Key Largo, Florida. Phillip is also the social media coordinator at Waterfront Diving Center, so make sure to give him your best scuba signal when you see him at one of our shop events.
