The course consists of an academic session that will introduce digital underwater photography, camera types, care and maintenance, photographic methods for normal, wide-angle and micro photos, artistic composition, and diving techniques to capture that perfect photo of the elusive fish. Two dives will be conducted in Lake Champlain using the new skill to experiment with photographic methods and diving techniques. Following the two dives, students will reconvene at WDC to learn how to use editing software to improve the photos taken during their dives.
The cost of the course $225.00. Students must provide their own basic SCUBA equipment. Rental equipment is available at half price. Photography equipment will be provided at no cost.
